Boxing fanatics… Let’s get ready to rumbleeeeee…….!!!

After the biggest fight in boxing history coupled with the breaking of all Pay Per View records last May in Las Vegas, the Oscar De La Hoya and Floyd Mayweather fight is not yet finished and will soon continue its saga. All hands are now in the process of finalizing the big rematch that will happen either on September 13 or September 20 this year.

The September 13 or 20 target date was told by Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer to ESPN.com. The choices for the venue includes the 27,000-seat Home Depot Center, the outdoor home to the Los Angeles Galaxy of Major League Soccer, the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and the Dodger Stadium. Such big venues but wherever this fight will take place, no one can stop the fans from watching the will surely become one of the most explosive boxing rematch in the history of boxing.

As we all knew, Mayweather won a split decision to take De La Hoya’s junior middleweight belt when they met May 5 at the MGM Grand. Although De La Hoya has said he planned to return to the welterweight division and Mayweather is the welterweight world champion, the weight for a rematch hadn’t been determined. It could be at a catch weight somewhere between the 147-pound welterweight division and 154-pound junior middleweight class.
